Which, may I say, is looking fairly packed already. Packed in a nice way I hasten to add, with another series of Great Escape planned on the very beautiful west coast of Ireland this summer, and a further filming project in Australia at the end of the year. Both of these projects have a satisfactory whiff of conservation and science about them, as well as celebrating two very different - but equally dramatic - marine ecosystems.

Aside from that Reuben is very well, and is snuffling at my feet as I type this in the office, doubtless dreaming of white sands and frigid Scottish seas. he's now the size of a small African elephant, and shows no sign of stopping growing - which is somewhat alarming. I - we - will send more missives from Ireland as soon as we settle in, which as we're in a small village close to a pub won't be too much of a brutal cultural leap!
