"On a break from filming at present, which is bliss, but bizarrely it's all go. The filming in question is a new series for the BBC on our inshore fishing fleet, and it's fascinating stuff. We feel we know all about fishing and fishermen, but trust me there are a great many revelations. Did you know for example that only 8% of fishing boats catch 80% of the fish, and that working as a fisherman is twelve times more dangerous than the next most hazardous peace-time profession (working in construction). Anyway, all manner of interesting things emerging for a series that will air some time in Spring 2012. There's also the final edits of Great Barrier Reef which are taking place right now - a great chance to work with some incredible wildlife film makers from the NHU on an iconic coral reef ecosystem. That series should go out early next year hopefully. And Tam and I are buying a new house very soon - after four years on the road we're finally settling down. Oh, and our first baby is due at the end of November. So, a bit of a quiet time all round really! Hope you're enjoying the latest Great Escape, and I'm under strict instructions from Suze to update the News section more often, so keep checking for more updates! All the best, Monty"
