Swimming With Giants 2003

Swimming With Giants was simple in concept, and hideously complex in reality. The idea was to circle the globe seeking out the finest animal encounters in the oceans. Monty led a group of ten divers and a film crew (with the resultant footage being made into the series Great Ocean Adventures) through five continents, into deep caverns and shallow rivers, over bustling reefs and along barreling ocean currents. The expedition took three months, and resulted in encounters with all the poster boys of the blue planet.

The team encountered - and filmed - great whites, tiger sharks, humboldt squid, humpback whales, giant ocean sunfish, manta rays, thresher sharks, wolf eels, giant octopus, and myriad of other great shadows in the sea. A demanding expedition that resulted in memories and moments that none of the team will ever forget.
