Biodiversity loss is one of the biggest environmental threats that we face today, and constitutes a global crisis that needs to be tackled with the same urgency as climate change. Though the Islands may appear pristine, they are threatened by climate change, invasive species, overfishing, urbanisation and plastic pollution.
