At Galapagos Day 2022, in the lead up to the UN Convention of Biodiversity (COP15) and one year on from the announcement of the new Hermandad marine reserve in Ecuador, we will explore the threats to biodiversity in Galapagos. We will hear directly from experts working at the cutting edge of science to save species ranging from whale sharks to giant tortoises.

As well as enjoying stimulating talks from our speakers, you will also be able to speak to our staff and project partners, network with like-minded individuals, check out our Galapagos photography exhibition, meet our corporate partners and buy Galapagos merchandise including Christmas cards, wildlife adoptions, photo prints and calendars. Our hosts the Royal Geographical Society will be opening up part of their private collection to view on the night, featuring artefacts from Charles Darwin’s historic voyage on HMS Beagle, and refreshments will be available at the bar. Galapagos Day will also be your last opportunity to buy tickets for our raffle, with the chance to win amazing prizes including a luxury Galapagos cruise for two worth $18,900!

Monty will be hosting the evening and tickets are available from the GCT website!
