Business Leaders enjoy an Evening with Moon and the Stars
Monty joined Executive Search Firm Moon Consulting and 90 business leaders from across the South West and Wales to celebrate Moon’s 15th Anniversary at the newly renovated 3D Planetarium in Bristol.
Moon Consulting, who recruit board level candidates and provide strategic consultancy services into some of the region’s top businesses, treated their guests to a powerful presentation by Monty, as well as a 3-D tour of our solar system and some of its amazing constellations, moons and planets.
Director of Moon Consulting, Vanessa Moon took guests through the company journey, from its modest beginnings to becoming a trusted recruitment partner to businesses of all types, from small owner-managed organisations to global PLCs. She cited Moon’s focus on values, relationships, flexibility and commitment as key to success and thanked guests for their support.
Monty gave business leaders practical advice on how to create, coach and lead teams in stressful and rapidly changing environments. This included the ‘OODA’ decision making process, key behavioural traits that benefit teams and how to identify the critical ‘red star’ moments in projects where they can either succeed or fail.
Monty said: “I am delighted to be working with Moon Consulting for the second time. The event was opened by newly appointed Rt. Hon. Lord Mayor Cllr. Clare Campion-Smith and was attended by High Sheriff Dr Ros Kennedy and Master of the Guild of Guardians Nigel Hardy. The Lord Mayor spoke about the great value that Moon Consulting had brought to Bristol in its 15 years of business. She wanted young people, especially girls, to have the opportunity to develop the same breadth of vision and qualities that brought success to Moon Consulting.
